The Brewer Plaza project on Boston Common is nearing completion, the Boston Parks and Recreation Department reported this week. 
Fencing will continue to protect lawn areas on the Common between Brewer Fountain and Beacon Hill through the winter and into early spring, one of the final stages in the project overseen by the Friends of the Public Garden in 2011. Remaining work will include reseeding some of the perimeter areas that were seeded late in the fall.  These…portlandia
