South Boston drivers will be happy to learn that new parking regulations are being implemented on East First Street that will provide additional parking spaces for visitors and South Boston residents alike.  The Boston Transportation Department is implementing the new regulations in cooperation with South Boston elected officials who have been working closely with the City to find creative ways to bring parking relief to this busy area of the neighborhood.
